Apprentice of the day spotlight for Jack
It came as no surprise for us recently when we heard that our superstar Apprentice Jack had been chosen to be ‘Apprentice of the day’ by Warrington and Vale Royal college during National Apprentice Week earlier in March.
National Apprenticeship Week took place from the 4th to 8th March and is an annual celebration of apprenticeships, which brought the whole apprenticeship community together to celebrate the impact of apprenticeships on individuals, employers and the economy.
Jack has certainly impressed us since joining the company in early 2018 and following the announcement, our Business & Finance Manager, Dawn commented “As a company we are very passionate about our company values and wanted to recruit an ambitious young person who embodied these values. Jack is a real asset to the team. His knowledge and confidence have significantly improved since he started with us.”
Following the great news, Jack said of his Apprenticeship “I wasn’t sure what career pathway to take but I knew I wanted to get some real work experience, start earning money and continue my education. I applied for an apprenticeship through Warrington & Vale Royal College and they secured me an interview with Today Team. It’s a fantastic company to work for, they really invest in their staff.”
Following Jack’s success we have been exploring adding second apprenticeship to our growing team so fingers crossed they will feature in next years publicity.
