20 Years of Business
At Today Team, we’re getting ready to mark a huge milestone – our 20th birthday! From our foundation in 2005, with a helping hand from the Prince’s Trust, to the present day, we’ve come a long way. There have been many challenges on our journey, but as our MD Jamie Boyd likes to say; “smooth seas do not make skilful sailors”.
One aspect of the business we’re keen to build on is our growth during 2024, with a key driver being the acquisition of Speedy Courier Services in 2023. This allowed us to streamline operations, boost performance and widen our offering to customers. With strategic acquisitions now a significant part of our growth plan, this year could mark the next chapter in our expansion.
Investing in Our Team and Local Community
Staff development and the strengthening of our team is always a priority, even winning us a CIPD People Management Award. That focus won’t change in the upcoming year, as we anticipate a number of new employees joining the ranks. Announcements on these new colleagues will come in due course, as well as some exciting professional developments among our existing team.
Today Team is active in our community, supporting a number of local sports teams via sponsorship, and that’s something we’ll look to continue this year. Our location just outside Warrington makes us an ideal same day delivery option for businesses around the Northwest, and we’re pleased to have renewed our lease on Taylor Business Park for the next 5 years.
Our steadfast commitment to providing a highly reliable same day delivery and time critical logistics services to our customers, locally and internationally, remains at the heart of what we do, and our plans for 2025 are based around this.
