Today Team Renews Support for Disability Partnership’s Charity Dinner & Auction

We’re pleased to be sponsoring Warrington Disability Partnership’s Charity Dinner & Auction again this year, continuing our support for a charity with which Today Team has a longstanding connection.

Taking place on Friday 13th November at the Village Hotel in Warrington, the evening will bring supporters together to celebrate another year of the charity’s work. Guests will enjoy drinks on arrival, a three-course meal and live entertainment, with an auction and raffle raising funds to support its services.

A longstanding relationship

Our connection with WDP goes back many years. Our Managing Director, Jamie Boyd, has supported its social enterprise, the Disability Trading Company, as a board member for more than a decade, contributing his business experience to its work providing mobility and independent living solutions.

The wider Today Team has also got involved in fundraising along the way, from firewalks to a charity skydive. In 2025, 12 fundraisers, including five Today Team colleagues, took on a barefoot walk across hot coals, raising £2,350 for WDP.

Renewing our sponsorship of the annual dinner is another way for us to keep supporting a charity whose work we’ve followed closely over the years.

Supporting choice and independence

The Disability Partnership is a user-led charity with more than 30 years’ experience of developing and delivering mobility and independent living services. The majority of its trustees, staff and volunteers have lived experience of disability and caring, helping to shape the advice and support it provides.

Its services cover practical needs such as mobility equipment, accessible transport and support with employment and welfare benefits. Many are based at Warrington’s Centre for Independent Living, where people can access information and guidance to help them make choices about their everyday lives.

Fundraising events like the charity dinner help support this ongoing work. They also give local businesses and supporters an opportunity to spend time together and recognise the efforts of the people behind those services.
