Today Team to Sponsor Warrington Disability Partnership’s Charity Dinner

Warrington Disability Partnership is a local charity with which Today Team has close connections. Our Managing Director Jamie Boyd has 10 years’ service as a board member for the WDP’s social enterprise – the Disability Trading Company, where his business insights help to support their success.

WDP is a user-led charity with over 30 years of experience in delivering mobility and independent living services. Their mission is to support disabled people and those with long-term health conditions, offering life-changing advice, guidance, and support through services like the Centre for Independent Living.

Earlier this year, we were delighted to raise more than £2,000 for the WDP thanks to the efforts of our brave firewalkers. We’re now proud to share details of the upcoming annual charity dinner, which Today Team is sponsoring for the second year in a row.

As Jamie explains:

“It’s a great honour to be extending our support to this great event and incredible charity. The funds raised go a long way to support the various programmes provided to people living with disabilities and long-term health conditions around Warrington and further afield.”

The dinner is a fantastic opportunity for the community to celebrate all of the hard work done by WDP in raising disability awareness.

There are still tickets available for the event, and Dave Thompson MBE DL, Chief Executive of the WDP shared his thoughts:

  • Friday 14th November 2025, 7 pm for 7.30 pm until late.
  • The Village Hotel, 110 Centre Park Square, Warrington, WA1 1QA.
  • £45 per person with maximum 10 per table.
  • Dress Code – Black Tie
  • 3 Course Meal
  • Live Entertainment
  • Auction and Raffle
