A Positive Week at Today Team
It has been a positive week at Today Team, with a couple of recent moments we wanted to share.
First, we were proud to sponsor the Mayor of Warrington, Cllr Mo Hussain’s fundraising evening on Friday 8th May, held in support of four fantastic local charities: Warrington Disability Partnership, St. Rocco’s Hospice, Room at the Inn Warrington and Warrington Youth Zone.
It was a great event in aid of causes doing important work in the local community, and we were pleased to be able to play a small part through our sponsorship.
While our Managing Director Jamie Boyd was unable to attend on the night, he was keen to show his support:
“Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend the fundraiser this year, but I’m proud we were able to support the event through Today Team’s sponsorship. The Mayor chose four fantastic local charities, and I’m sure the fundraiser will go a long way in helping them to continue the essential work they do in the community.”
Community has always mattered to us, and it is important to support people and organisations making a real difference locally.
Another recent highlight was seeing Jamie featured by BusinessCloud in its “A Week in the Life” series about business founders.
The article gave a behind-the-scenes look at Jamie’s routine, mindset and approach to running the business, from early starts and training to staying close to what is happening across Today Team week in, week out. It was a nice opportunity to share a more personal side of the journey behind the business.
Two very different updates, but both reflect things that matter to us: supporting our local community, recognising the people behind the business, and continuing to build something we are proud of, with uncompromising values at the heart of it.
Sometimes it’s worth pausing to acknowledge the smaller moments as well as the bigger milestones.
