And that’s a wrap… 2023 in review

Well, that’s nearly a wrap for 2023, another year of being our client’s emergency logistics providers in the bag.

We’ve got lots done, we’ve learnt lots along the way and we are ready (after a nice Christmas break) for an even bigger and better 2024.

There have been some nice little milestones along the way for us, the launch of our new look website being one and our acquisition of www.speedycourierservices.co.uk being another, as well of course as reaching the grand old age of 18.

Peak started early again this year (whatever happened to the August school holiday period being quiet?) which means it’s been all hands to the pump for months now.

We’d be here all day if we went through all the crazy situations and shipments we’ve been asked to get involved in, so here are just a select few that stick in our memory:

  • We arranged a flatbed wagon at short notice to move not 1 but 2 urgent aircraft engines for one of our clients.
  • Exhibitions? Been there, done all of those, lots of movements all over the UK for our clients helping them get their important stands and promo items to places like the ExCeL London and the NEC in Birmingham.
  • A critical dedicated 9 drop job taking our driver to all corners of Ireland.
  • We whizzed 4 pairs of Timberland boots 0.9 miles across London.
  • We arranged a hi-ab crane vehicle to move a rather large item for one of our Scottish clients.

On top of all the busy days, it’s been great to get lots of lovely Google reviews, this one being our favourite we think:

So that’s it, it’s a wrap (well nearly) for 2023, a big thank you to our office team and driving team for all their efforts, and all our loyal clients, old and new for their continued trust and business. Here’s to a successful 2024 for us all.
