We’re celebrating our sweet 16! Happy Birthday to us
Today Team started out 16 years ago with one man and his van! Jamie, our Managing Director was a professional rugby player until he suffered a serious knee injury in 2005. With no career plan he decided to set up his own delivery business with the help of a grant from the Princes Trust who gave Jamie a boost to get started. Jamie says “I can still remember picking up my first van from the hire company on a Saturday morning, ready to get started on Monday. We have come a long way since then, employing 10 office staff and working with over 50 drivers a day across the UK and Europe. The last 16 years have been challenging at times with plenty of fun along the way. I’ve got a great team around me which I know will help grow the business over the next 16 years.”
We’re very lucky to have a great customer base who have helped us get to where we are today, a massive thank you to you for your continued support.
Although due to Covid we can’t celebrate as a team this year, we’ve been reminiscing about weird and wonderful jobs over the years including; expensive and rare bottles of wine to Buckingham palace, a stuffed cat that had to be delivered to a movie set, coffins (empty thankfully) and not forgetting a mobile phone which one of the Dragons from Dragon’s Den had left behind as they set out for their day!
