Giving a local charity a helping hand
Recently we were contacted by Dave Thompson at the Warrington Disability partnership, he wanted our help transporting an antique wheelchair from London to Warrington. As part of our ongoing partnership with the Disability Trading Company and the Warrington Disability Partnership we decided to go one further and purchase the wheelchair for their Disability Heritage project and safely transported the antique wheelchair for their Heritage Project.
Dave Thompson the Chief Executive for Warrington Disability Partnership said “I would like to say a big thank you to Today Team first of all for the donation of the antique wheelchair, and secondly, for the fantastic service they provided, they promptly collected and delivered the fragile item free of charge.”
Our Managing Director Jamie who’s a Non-Executive Director for the Disability Trading Company was more than happy to help this worthy cause, he said “When Dave called me to ask about the transport of the wheelchair I said we could go one better and donate it to the planned museum, the Logistics Team then worked their usual magic and it was delivered safely to Warrington a couple of days later, I’m looking forward to seeing it in place when it launches”
