Job Title – Accounts Assistant
What does your role at Today Team involve? – Processing all the driver payments, collating the information for the end of month payment run to drivers and non-drivers, bank reconciliation, credit control answering any queries that come into the accounts inbox and looking after the petty cash.
What do you enjoy most about working at Today Team? – The Today Team Values and the investment in the staff and way the staff are made to feel valued.
What’s the most important skill for someone in your role? – Integrity.
What do you think sets Today Team apart from other courier services? – The customer service provided from start to finish of a delivery.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received in your career? –You can only control the controllables.
What’s your go-to karaoke song? – I’ve never done Karaoke in my life, and I’m tone deaf so wouldn’t be thanked for partaking.
How would you describe yourself in 3 words? – Honest, reliable, unique.
What’s your favourite way to spend a day off? – Somewhere by the coast in Dorothy Anne, my campervan.
If you could have dinner with any celebrity (dead or alive), who would it be? – Emmeline Pankhurst
If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? – My mum’s homemade vegetable soup followed by her homemade rice pudding.
