Today Team Hits the Mark with Two Key Additions

Everyone at Today Team is delighted to welcome our two newest starters, Mark Blackhurst and Mark Rowe!
Mark Blackhurst joins us as Logistics Team Supervisor, and Mark Rowe as Indoor Sales Manager. These are two key additions to our HQ near Warrington as we continue to implement our ambitious plans for growth, and heading into our 20th peak season.
Mark B. previously worked in retail, but with a time critical logistics background, having worked in final mile delivery over the last 10 years. This included management of all aspects of logistics planning, from managing drivers to navigating traffic challenges and communications.
As he describes; “I’ve come from a sector where effective communication and quality of service to the end user are essential. I completely understand the knock-on effect of delayed or failed deliveries to clients and end users, so the level of service Today Team aims for and achieves is something I’m looking forward to being part of.”
He has hit the ground running during his first couple of weeks in our busy logistics office; “I’ve really enjoyed learning the processes and can’t believe how quickly time has flown by since I started. It’s a really supportive team here, and the direct and constructive feedback I’ve had so far has helped me to gain confidence in the role from the word go.”
Mark R. has spent the last 20 years working in commercial roles for a large automotive trader, dealing with small clients right through to huge nationwide dealers. Harnessing this experience, he’ll be heading up and developing our sales team.
“I’m really passionate about coaching and development, and hope to bring a customer-centric approach to the sales department here at Today Team. Having spent the last 20 years at a market leading automative trader, I was a little nervous about coming into a close knit team, but I really didn’t need to be. Everyone has been so welcoming!”
One of Mark’s biggest tasks to start with will be the ongoing implementation of our new CRM system and developing sales processes; “I’m excited to help develop the processes and team as we work towards our targets for growth at Today Team. I have a good amount of experience in terms of working across commercial departments, analysing data and applying that with a commercial focus.”
