Rescue for Robbie

As urgent sameday delivery specialists we are used to getting all sorts of weird and wonderful requests for goods of all sizes to be transported ASAP, but one of the calls we received recently was a little bit special.

We took a call from a lady in London late one afternoon, who was asking for an urgent delivery from Liverpool to Leeds. She was stressing how important it was that the goods were delivered in the next few hours, as the impact would be huge if they weren’t.

The customer advised it was a bespoke microphone we were collecting and that the microphone was for none other than Robbie Williams for a concert he was performing that evening.

Despite the rush hour traffic we had the microphone collected within 40 minutes and our driver made his way directly to Leeds. Unfortunately the driver didn’t get to meet Robbie but the mic was delivered with time to spare and the show was able go on!
