5th time lucky for our charity skydive! At Today Team we’re used to getting things right first time
Three members of Today Team agreed to take part in a charity skydive for Warrington Disability Partnership in 2019, but due to bad weather and the pandemic the event has been cancelled 4 times, so the team have got their fingers crossed they can take the biggest jump of their lives on the 15th September at the Tilstock airfield. They have raised £1365 so far for this worthy cause.
“We’re all praying it goes ahead this time, nobody more than me, I’ve had to diet 5 times now to make sure I hit the correct weight to jump and it would be nice to be able to go back to enjoying a burger and a pint sometime soon!” Said Jamie, our MD.
Warrington Disability Partnership is an internationally acclaimed user led charity. With over 29 years’ experience of developing and delivering mobility and independent living services, their aim is to support disabled people and people living with long term health conditions. Today Team have been working with the partnership for a few years, having done two sponsored fire walks and now hopefully the tandem skydive.
