Today Team is Hiring – Logistics Team Supervisor
Today Team is a fast-growing, same-day logistics SME with a reputation for exceptional service. We celebrated our 20th anniversary last year, and we continue to achieve significant year-on-year growth, not through aggressive sales or marketing campaigns, but because our customers trust us, recommend us, and stay with us.
We deliver when others can’t. We keep promises that others break.
We don’t just deliver — we deliver right.
The opportunity
This is a pivotal, hands-on leadership role where you will supervise and support the Logistics Team, working closely with and deputising for the Logistics Team Manager. You’ll help oversee the seamless management of the relationship between our customers and our courier fleet – ensuring every job runs to perfection.
If you thrive in a fast-paced operations environment, love problem-solving, and want to develop your career in a business where Outstanding Customer Service is the minimum standard, then this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
About you
- You will be experienced in Transport / Logistics / Same-Day office operations, with supervisory experience
- You’re calm under pressure and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment
- You’re a natural communicator who builds strong relationships across customers, couriers and colleagues
- You’re detail-driven with excellent problem-resolution and confident decision-making skills
- You’re customer-obsessed — always asking: “What would I expect if this were my urgent delivery?”
- You’ll be ambitious, driven and committed to your development and your team’s development
- You’re comfortable joining our planned on-call rota (1 week in every 4 or 5), rewarded at £200 per week
- You are a strong team player who values collaboration, trust and shared success
- You’re confident using modern TMS and IT systems
What you’ll get in return
- Salary of around £35K, dependant on experience + benefits (negotiable for the right person)
- £200 on-call allowance per rota week
- Supportive culture of development and progression
- Opportunity to shape and influence operations within a growing logistics organisation
- A supportive team that genuinely cares about doing a great job
- A business where values are real, not just posters on the wall
This is not a role for someone looking for a slow-paced transport office role — it’s for someone who wants to lead, inspire and deliver excellence.
