Fed up with people driving ridiculously fast down her road, a traffic blackspot, and putting her grandchildren, playing nearby, at risk, she decided to take matters into her own hands… with some creativity.

She set up camp with a comfy chair, a cuppa and a hair dryer, which she pointed at cars in the hope that speeding motorists would assume it was a radar gun.

Whatever any passing drivers may have thought, Patti’s now famous.

Her son tagged a local policeman in the photos he shared of her doing her civic duty and she’s now been made an honorary Montana trooper, complete with cap and badge.
