Italian police deliver donor kidney 300 miles away in two hours with Lamborghini. We’re fast, but we’re not that fast!!

Courier service, Chester

An Italian police officer was tasked with delivering a donor kidney over 300 miles from Rome to Padua. The usually-six-hour-long trip took just two hours as the Lamborghini sped at an average speed of 145 mph (233 km/h).

The Lamborghini Huracan they used, which was specially modified for such tasks with a refrigerated frunk, was obtained by the Italian police back in 2017. Speedy organ delivery isn’t its only job, though. In fact, it’s a regular patrol vehicle for the department with lights, a police computer and other equipment necessary to perform traffic stops and arrests. Luckily for other speeders, it was too busy flying down the road for officers to check their radar guns!

As much as we’d like to add our own Lamborghini to the fleet, we don’t think we’d get away with such high speeds when delivering for our clients.
