Birmingham Clean Air Charge comes into force from 1st June
From the 1st June anyone driving a non-compliant vehicle within the Clean Air Zone will be charged £8 a day for cars, taxis and vans or £50 a day for buses, coaches and HGVs to drive within the zone.
The charge will only apply to anyone driving a vehicle with high nitrogen dioxide (NO2) emissions, so not everyone will be affected. If you have a diesel vehicle manufactured before 2015 or a petrol vehicle manufactured before 2006 you will need to pay a daily fee each time you use the Clean Air Zone.
The team will advise you at the time of quoting or booking if there will be additional charges for deliveries within the Clean Air Zone.
